Avoiding political prescriptions, this moving film provides an intimate look into the lives and minds of brothers Daniel and Neriyah Sharabi, who saved hundreds of fellow festival goers lives at the NOVA Peace and Love Music Festival on October 7, 2023.

Though hailed as heroes, they now live with PTSD and survivors guilt, grieving many lost friends, fearing for their best friend, kidnapped by Hamas, and the search for mental-health support.

The trauma and resilience it examines could occur anywhere in the world—Israel or Palestine, Russia or Ukraine—because the psychological toll of modern warfare recognizes no borders.

Through the Sharabi brothers’ experiences, the film explores compassion, resilience, and the difficult work of healing whilst holding their breath, waiting for a proof-of-life video of their best friend Yosef.
